Enjoy your Stay in Paradise

Vanderbilt Villa is happy to offer 2 BOTE paddle boards for you and your guests to use during your stay. We do have a liability waiver any adults planning to participate in the use of the paddle boards will need to sign at the time of check in on a physical copy of the form that will be provided by our concierge member Ayana, when you arrive. Each adult participation will need to sign their own form so Ayana will make sure enough are printed out. In addition, any minor planning to use the paddleboards will also need their legal guardian sign a form on their behalf with the minor’s name indicated on the form. 

A digitally signed copy of the form is not required before your stay. I will attach a copy so that you may review it and ask us any question prior to your stay so that when you arrive you will just have to sign it! 

If no one in your party will be using the paddleboards, Ayana will make sure they are locked up during your stay, so you won’t have to worry about them being out or anyone using them. 

We highly recommend renting a car and exploring the beautiful island of Exuma.

Grocery Shopping

There are a couple of options on the island groceries and spirits. This is also a service that can be added to your stay if you would like to have groceries stocked and ready for your arrival at the house.

With your rental at the Villa there is a private dock you will have access to that holds up to a 40-foot vessel (There is no-shore power). February Point also offers a marina conveniently located to Vanderbilt Villa that houses 50-foot vessels.

Exuma is famous for its beautiful turquoise waters that offers many memorable activities such as; Swimming with pigs, sharks, and stings rays! Enjoy wonderful snorkeling most anywhere in these waters.

Weather permitting with smooth water:
Take an all-day excursion to Staniel Key, Iguana Island, visit where James Bond movie was filmed, pass by Tim and Faith Hill’s beautiful home.
For a shorter day you can go to Long Island, Sandy Key, see where Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed and visit Cape Santa Maria.
